Victoria Wax Chaos “Hybrid” Wax is a new carnauba/sealant blend car wax. They have taken the original Victoria Wax formula that is based on raw, natural materials and fortified it with polymers. The end result is a “super wax” with sealant qualities including superior durability, but at the same time maintaining some of the visual characteristics associated with carnauba paste waxes.

Chaos contains no added colourings or fragrance and comes “as is” with a natural carnauba look and smell.

Blackfire Midnight Sun Carnauba Paste wax is considered by many professionals as one of the best car wax pastes available on the market. It has a good balance of durability, gloss and ease of use. These 3 major points are what makes a good car wax. It particularly excels in the gloss department making it an ideal “beauty” wax for concours events and exotic cars in general.

There is a bit of history behind this product. The manufacturer was initially involved with the development of the Pinnacle brand, now owned and distributed by Palm Beach Motoring Accessories. Blackfire Midnight Sun is a “next gen” version of the Pinnacle Souveran. For the Pinnacle fans, think of Souveran on steriods.

Arguably the best LSP on the planet and also one of the cheapest! In a massive 14.5oz tin, this hard paste sealant is more than enough to last most people a lifetime.

Finish Kare 1000P is a blend of advanced pure synthetic materials, developed from a process called Synthesis. The result is a paste wax characterised by melting temperature of more than 250 degrees, extreme hardness, extreme slickness, high gloss, and intensive wear without the quality fluctuations found in natural waxes.

FK1000P is a pure sealant. Prior preparation with a car polish is required as this product does not contain any cleaning action like All-In-One products.

A new product from Meguiar’s is Ultimate Quik Wax, featuring their Hydrophobic Polymer Technology. It leaves no white residue on plastic and trim, and it can even be applied in direct sunlight.

Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax is going to be misunderstood by many users because it is a true wax (actually a spray polymer sealant) and not a quick detail spray. Most consumers purchasing over the counter products do not understand the difference between a quick detail spray and a spray wax or sealant.

A quick detail spray removes dust, smudges, fingerprints and restores a shine that will last 12 to 24 hours. This product is often used by car dealers every morning to wipe down vehicles in the showroom. Spray waxes like Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax also remove dust, smudges and fingerprints but go much further than a just a quick shine.

The hydrophobic (water resistant) polymers used in Ultimate Quik Wax create a deep, wet-looking shine that mimics the look of better paste waxes. These polymers link together to create a shield that protects the paint and beads water for weeks.

Banana Gloss is a premium liquid carnauba wax with a deep glossy shine. Very simple to use and it works on hot paint, cold paint, in the sun or in the shade. It dries almost instantly, so waxing becomes a quick and easy project.

Banana Gloss will also fill and conceal some pretty heavy paint swirls. If you see “spider webs” when you look at your car in the sun, I recommend trying Banana Gloss as the improvement will be significant.

Like the products name suggests, Victoria’s red carnauba paste wax was originally developed for competitive use at Concours events.

For use on all paint colours it looks particularly stunning on black, red and darker paintwork. It contains one of the highest amounts of real wax content used in the car detailing industry. Concours is formulated using large amounts of pure Carnauba wax and an exotic blend of natural oils.

HOW TO USE

  1. Apply a thin layer of wax to a clean surface using the finger tips and palms of hands.
  2. Allow Victoria Concours Carnauba Wax to stand for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Buff wax using a high quality microfibre towel before the carnauba wax dries completely.

For a deeper finish and maximum protection, apply multiple layers of Concours Carnauba wax paste. Allow at least 1 hour between layers for the carnauba wax to cure. Buff each coat of wax after application and immediately before applying the next layer.
